Decisive for the formation of rust water in the pipes is the insufficient transport of oxygen, which is dissolved as a natural element in our water. Possible causes for this are insufficient water flow or insufficient oxygen content in the water. Often, due to oversized pipelines, not enough oxygen can reach the pipe wall. In practice, this looks as follows: A protective layer forms on its own in places that come into sufficient contact with oxygen. In between, however, there are places that are not sufficiently supplied with oxygen: This creates an oxygen gradient – and consequently corrosion! The permasolvent active system offers an effective solution. During installation, all fine sieves on the fittings should be replaced with coarse jet regulators. This leads to an improvement of the flow conditions in the pipelines and also improves the rinsing effect of degraded corrosion products. These coarse jet regulators should remain installed for at least 6 months.
