Water filter for the house connection against rust and dirt:
We create clarity.
To protect your installation, DIN 1988-200 stipulates the use of a water filter for your house connection that reliably removes dirt particles.
Even if our tap water is still one of the best controlled foodstuffs, nobody is immune to contamination from the pipe system. If sand and rust particles are also deposited on the inner surfaces of copper or galvanised steel pipes, there is a risk of trough corrosion and even water pipe breakage. In addition, these particles can contaminate aerators and lead to dripping fittings and functional damage to household appliances. It is not for nothing that a mechanical filter must be installed behind the water meter in accordance with DIN 1988-200.
In a nutshell
- Prevents dirt and rust particles from entering the power supply network
- Thin particles can cause corrosion and rupture of the water pipe
- Drinking water filters protect installations, faucets, and appliances, such as water heaters, regulators (water breakers), and showerheads.
- Our solutions ensure clarity and optimal hygiene
Small drinking water filter, big effect

From the simple spin-on filter to the automatic backwash filter with pressure reducer:
Small filter customized for domestic use.
Enjoy the good feeling of being on the safe side with perma-trade filter systems. We offer you the right solution for every requirement as well as flexible filter variants that can be easily converted and upgraded. What is there at all? We have briefly summarized this for you here:
1. Spin-on filter
Our minimaster spin-on filter is a cost-effective entry-level model. The filter cartridge must be replaced every six months in accordance with DIN EN 806-5. Who wants more later? Can simply be upgraded to the more comfortable permaster black model.
2. Backwash filter
With these models, the filter cartridge no longer needs to be replaced, but the filter can be regularly backwashed by hand by turning the drain funnel. Our patented strip brushes clean the stainless steel sieve and the filter cup quickly and reliably.
3.Filter pressure reducer combination
With these filter combinations, an integrated pressure reducer additionally reduces the operating pressure and thus protects valves and equipment from possible damage. Water consumption can also be reduced in this way.
4. Automatic filter
This high-end solution does everything automatically and even cleans itself on its own. After selectable time intervals, backwashing is carried out automatically and you enjoy maximum comfort.

Patented cleanliness and hygiene
Patented cleanliness and hygiene
With its transparent black cup , the permaster black filter offers optimal sun protection against algae growth, and the degree of contamination can be checked at any time. Our patented strip brushes clean the stainless steel filter and filter cup without interrupting the water supply.
Easy and convenient use
Easy and convenient use
According to EN 8065, regular replacement and cleaning of household water filters cannot be avoided in any way. That’s why we have made it as easy as possible to handle: our self-cleaning filters can be quickly rinsed by turning the ‘discharge funnel and are also available in an automatic version.
Sustainable and secure protection of the installation.
Sustainable and secure protection of the installation.
Simply lower the pressure and use a gentler operation: with a built-in pressure reducer, water consumption is reduced and also valves and faucets are protected from dirt particles and their harmful side effects.

Any more questions on filtering?
If drinking water is the best controlled food, why should I filter any further? A justified question! Although the waterworks supply drinking water of hygienically perfect quality, it can still happen that small solid particles, such as rust particles or grains of sand, are detached from the water supply network and in your pipes and flushed into the house installation. These particles can impede the proper functioning of drinking water heaters, fittings and shower heads or lead to corrosion damage in metallic pipes due to pitting. For these reasons, DIN 1988-200 stipulates that a filter must be installed in the drinking water system immediately after the water meter. Therefore a clear YES to the water filter for the house connection!
With a spin-on filter – as the name suggests – the filter element must be changed regularly – according to DIN EN 806, Part 5 every 6 months. As this represents an intervention in the drinking water network, this replacement must be carried out by a specialist technician. Backwash filters, on the other hand, can be serviced by the operator himself. The filter backwashing must be carried out if the water pressure decreases as a result of increasing contamination of the filter fabric or, according to DIN EN 806, Part 5, at the latest after 6 months. With the permaster backwash filter, the filter element is flushed out without interrupting the water supply. Strip brushes clean both the filter screen and the filter cup. It is even more convenient with an automatic backwash filter. This filter cleans itself virtually on its own after adjustable time intervals.
If your water pressure exceeds 5 bar, a pressure reducer should be installed in the cellar. This reduces the high water pressure to a value sufficient for the house. This allows you to save water without any loss of comfort. On the contrary: the pressure reducer protects fittings and appliances from pressure damage.
