Filling heaters correctly - according to VDI guideline 2035
Why tap water is not good for your heating.
In order to protect your heating system from limescale and corrosion, special attention must be paid to the quality of the filling water. Simply filling in tap water in modern sensitive heating systems can cause massive problems.
What was common in the past can be expensive today. Because even if your water comes out of the tap in the best drinking quality, it is very likely to cause your heating system serious “digestive problems”. Depending on its chemical composition, your tap water can cause harmful interactions with the materials used in modern heating systems. For example, in combination with hard water, unwanted deposits can form that have a negative impact on energy efficiency. Today’s popular material mix of copper, aluminium, stainless steel or steel also leads to undesirable interactions with tap water. The result: malfunctions or even corrosion damage, which is usually associated with high costs. For the protection of heating systems exists the VDI guideline 2035, which sets out precise specifications for filling water quality.
Saving energy fluently made easy.
What matters when it comes to filling water quality.
What your heating system has invested in is decisive for its trouble-free operation and optimum energy efficiency. The water hardness and the pH value in particular play an important role in the quality of the filling water: The water hardness indicates the concentration of magnesium and calcium ions dissolved in the water. Heating them can lead to the formation of limestone, which in the long term considerably impairs the heat transfer. No less harmful for your heating system are corrosion reactions caused by an incorrect pH value of the heating water or by corrosive salts such as chloride and sulphate.
Fill heater correctly: Compliance with VDI 2035
This is how you secure your warranty and guarantee.
The formation of deposits increases fuel consumption and reduces the service life of your heating system. As a result, the deposits cause unnecessary costs for maintenance and energy. In addition, if you use the wrong heating water, you also risk your warranty and guarantee claims on the heating system. As the operator of a heating system, you are now in a completely new position of responsibility and should ensure that your filling water complies with the requirements of VDI Guideline 2035. With perma-trade’s heating water treatment system, this can be implemented quickly and easily.

Heating water treatment prevents chemical interactions and harmful deposits in your heating system and thus makes a significant contribution to long-term functional reliability and extended service life.
Maximum energy efficiency
Maximum energy efficiency
A clear case: deposits in your heating system can significantly reduce its energy efficiency. With an optimally matched filling water quality, lime and corrosion have no chance and you can count on optimum energy yield.
permasoft: Products with sustainable added value.
For the sake of the environment: Conserving resources through recycling.
A special mixed bed resin is used for heating water treatment with permasoft. This resin is exhausted after use – but reusable! We have developed our own recycling concept: Instead of simply disposing of the mixed bed resin, the permasoft units are taken along by your installation specialist and returned to perma-trade. We recycle the mixed bed resin and consistently reuse it. With 5 or 20 litres of mixed bed resin per container, more than 100 tonnes are collected annually, which can be saved in resources.
Heating water treatment made easy:
Ensure efficiency, warranty and guarantee.
We offer you a simple solution with which your heating water can be safely treated in accordance with VDI Guideline 2035 - and all at the same time during operation.
Whether new filling, refilling or treatment of the existing heating water: With the permasoft heating water treatment all requirements of the VDI guideline 2035 can be fulfilled reliably; even without interrupting the heating operation. This way, you can protect your entire heating system comprehensively in the simplest possible way and are on the safe side in the event of warranty and guarantee claims!
Fill up with heating water.
With perma-trade it's safe, easy and sustainable.
Even if your heating system has already been filled with optimal filling water according to VDI guideline 2035: From time to time it is necessary to top up with new filling water, e.g. if the heating has been vented. The perma-trade refill stations make it easy to ensure that only suitable water is used for refilling. Via the built-in pressure reducer, the filling station automatically detects whether refilling is necessary and can be replenished with demineralised water if necessary. In addition, DIN EN 1717 effectively prevents heating water from getting back into the drinking water installation and contaminating it. Thus your drinking water is always protected.
